Our good friends at Vingt Paris tell us about yet another reason why Paris in August is wonderful – Le Terrasse FLO on the roof of Le Printemps is open and it’s not crowded. La Terrasse FLO is a bar-restaurant right on top of Le Printemps in the heart of Paris. It overlooks all of the monuments and lights of Paris – the City of Lights. It has a seaside, resort feel – beechwood planked floors, white tables and chairs (with azure backs), bamboo in wooden planters, and the most amazing sense of spaciousness. No umbrellas, so if you go during the day, wear a hat!
For 5 euros, you can get a mini bottle of wine and indulge in the most amazing visual experience -without going up the 400+ steps of Notre Dame (did that, BTW).
So, do a little shopping, a little drinking, and watch the sun go down and the lights come up. There’s music and apparently quite a scene during the warm months – be prepared.
