Grand Marnier and crepes

Hello All et acceptez mes regrets pour le silence, s’il vous plait (as well as the awful franglais. I’m working on it.) I switched computer systems – need I say more?

So, I started mulling about the meaning of life which made me hungry which led to a new life resolution: to eat every type of crepe there is and to do so in France, from nutella to florentine and everything in between. I think this is an excellent aspiration. And, if I do it in France, what with all the walking, I can stay slender enough to look good in something lovely and lacey, as well.

What brought this to mind was the memory of staggering along the Ile de la Cite blitzed out of my mind on Grand Marnier crepes. Obviously, I have no head for liquor, but seriously these crepes were very high proof and astonishingly delicious. The butter, sugar, and bitter orange flavors blended perfectly. And we just kept going back for more – at least three more times in about two weeks.

So, my wandering France recommendation for the night is: go to France and discover your own favorite crepes.
