If you happen to be in Paris and happen to have any money left over from
Christmas, zip over to Printemps. It’s Winter Super Sales time there. The store is extending its hours on January 7th (tomorrow – so hop on a plane – I wish) opening at 8 am and closing at 9 pm. On January 8-9, Printemps is open from 9:35 to 10 p.m. The sale ends February 10th. The store itself is huge, in a beautiful traditional building. They even have parking!

Even a stroll through the store would be a marvellous experience. Bask in the ambience, perhaps a small espresso, and then exit, possessed in fantasy of everything, yet obligated to nothing. Paris has riches for all.
